WiFi on Buses?
Posted On Friday, November 9, 2007 at at 7:27 AM by George S.Nokia has implemented WiFi zone on buses serving 12 routes in Singapore. This means that Singaporeans hopping on 12, 14, 30, 51, 65, 72, 80, 88, 96, 143, 147 and 179 route buses can have a pleasure of high speed Internet access. We can say that the Singaporean buses are now the best means of transportation around the island.
Allowing consumers to gain a high speed access to the Internet is Nokia's broad initiative. And the Singaporean campaign is not only the first in the country but in the Asia Pacific region as well.
I can imagine what a pleasure it would be to commute on those buses with Nokia E90 Communicator.
And the best of all. This service is free for Nokia users. All it takes to get connected on the go, is just to open the WLAN Wizard and connect to "Nokia WiFi Zone".
