Cortado, a Division of ThinPrint has released a new business application, Cortado Content Beamer, for Nokia E90 communicator. Technically, the application works on all E-series and N-series.
Content Beamer delivers exclusive functionality such as viewing attachments without downloading, extensive fax functions, presentation of documents on laptop monitors and printing on Bluetooth, Infrared and Network Printers of any manufacturer.
Viewing attachments without downloading is a fascinating function. Instead of downloading the original file, a display-optimized view file is transmitted thus dramatically reducing download traffic and time. The bottom line is substantial cost savings.
The fax function supports faxing over UMTS, which is much faster than faxing over slow GSM connections. This shall be especially useful for Nokia E90 Communicator owners who were used to using fax on previous models because E90 does not have a built-in fax application.
Cortado Content Beamer is thus seamlessly integrated in the respective mail platforms, such as the Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite.
