I tried it, but I find iSkoot better than this Skype beta. iSkoot *does* recognise the internal keyboard in the E90, and it *doesn't* dial a local number to make calls.

iSkoot *doesn't* recognise WLANs, so you have to use mobile phone data; whether that is a problem or not depends on whether you pay by the byte or not. However, the Skype beta's use of the WLAN only for non-voice things, like chat, doesn't make for great use of the WLAN, as far as I'm concerned.
